Aviation
Los Angeles International Airport
Construction of a maintenance and storage building for the LAX Automated People Mover (APM). The structure included a pre-engineered metal building with a canopy and mezzanine, metal wall and roof panels, and supporting steel. Safety and access features such as fall protection, a catwalk, and an HVAC screen were also incorporated.
Goodrich Aerostructures Group Building 41 Modifications
The project consisted of temporarily bracing the existing structure, removing the existing roof structure, modifying existing foundations, and fabricating and erecting new columns and roof structure within the existing facility. The scope of work also included extensive rerouting of existing utilities, air conditioning, electrical service, lighting, mechanical piping, and fire sprinklers. This design-build project had a critical 9-month timeline.
Commercial
Pacific Truck Equipment Building
Design, engineering, fabrication, and construction of a new ground-up manufacturing building and parking lot. The complete design-build delivery integrated all phases from initial planning through final construction.
Los Angeles Chargers Training Facility
Construction of two American Buildings Company pre-engineered metal buildings for the Los Angeles Chargers Training Facility project in El Segundo, California. The project scope included a 2,000 square foot grounds keeping building and a 2,000 square foot maintenance building.
CSUN Associated Student Sustainability Center
Design, fabrication, and delivery of one American Buildings Company pre-engineered metal building for California State University at Northridge. The project scope included a 4,800 square foot single slope yard building.

LADWP Haynes Repowering Units 5 & 6
Complete turnkey building design, fabrication, delivery, erection, and construction of Maintenance, Instrument, and Control pre-engineered metal buildings, including interior tenant improvements for the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power.
The Anaheim Canyon Power Plant
Design, fabrication, delivery, and erection of complete pre-engineered metal building systems and structure for the plant operations building, hazardous material storage shed, and water treatment system weather sun shade roof for the Anaheim Canyon Power Plant.
LADWP Haynes Generating Station Units 11-16
Erection of five individual pre-engineered structures for Kiewit Pacific Corporation, on behalf of the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power. Gonzales Construction delivered a turn-key product including all mechanical and electrical work. The largest structure was the Construction Warehouse, approximately 260 feet long, 45 feet wide, and 18 feet high with a stand-alone mezzanine. Additional structures included the Control and Administration Building, Automotive Service Building (with car wash and lifts), Hazardous Material Storage Building, and Yard Relay Building.
LADWP Valley Station Repowering
Erection and construction of a 44 by 145 foot Control, Monitoring, and Administration Facility approximately 6,380 square feet. Scope included one Yard Relay Room, one Control Room, one bathroom, two locker rooms, one janitor closet, two offices, one kitchen and break room, one conference room, one FM-200 fire suppression shed, one utility room, and one file room.
Burbank Water & Power Auxiliary Warehouse
Design and construction of a 60 by 100 foot auxiliary warehouse pre-engineered metal building for Burbank Water and Power.

Pure Water Antelope Valley Demonstration Facility
Construction of a maintenance and storage building for the LAX Automated People Mover (APM). Mission Springs Water Reclamation Facility
Construction of one American Buildings Company pre-engineered metal building for a water reclamation facility in Mission Springs, California. The project scope included a 14,000 square foot operations building serving dewatering, chemical storage, maintenance, administration, electrical, and blower operations.
Dos Palos Water Treatment Plant Replacement
Construction of three American Buildings Company pre-engineered metal buildings for a water treatment plant replacement in Dos Palos, California. The project scope included a 12,000 square foot operations building and an additional 3,800 square foot chemical storage and PAC building.
The Port of Los Angeles Berth 200 Rail Yard
Design and construction of one American Buildings Company pre-engineered metal building for the Port of Los Angeles at Berth 200. The project scope included a 9,500 square foot maintenance building.
LAAFD Ultraviolet Disinfection Facility
Design, engineering, and fabrication of one American Buildings Company pre-engineered metal building for a water disinfection plant in Sylmar, California. The project scope included a 13,000 square foot disinfection building with a 10-ton crane.
The Los Osos Water Recycling Facility
Design, engineering, and fabrication of one American Buildings Company pre-engineered metal building for a water recycling facility in Los Osos, California. The project scope included a 4,000 square foot maintenance building with a clearstory and a 3-ton mono-rail crane.
