Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions about metal building construction, costs, timelines, and capabilities.
How do metal building costs compare to conventional construction?
Pre-engineered metal buildings typically cost 15 to 25 percent less than conventional construction. The savings come from factory-produced components that increase labor efficiency and easier on-site assembly. Additionally, having one contractor handle the entire building envelope eliminates coordination costs between multiple independent contractors. The exact cost advantage depends on building size, complexity, and local market conditions.
